In Scripta, transcribed text is broken up into chunks called segments. Unlike a caption editor, you don’t need to adhere to strict guidelines around how many words are in each segment, or how they are blocked. Just make sure that a new segment is created whenever there is a change of speaker or every 8-10 lines to ensure the transcript is easy to read. Segment breaks where there is no change in speaker need to be labelled with a chevron.
